Marking five years of the group’s presence in the UAE, the new Claire Dominics Buro space has been conceived as more than a traditional design studio. Bringing together an interior design studio, art gallery, design library, material archive, and hospitality lounge, the space reflects the values that have shaped the practice from the beginning — craftsmanship, creativity, curiosity, and human connection.

Rather than conventional meeting rooms, clients and visitors are welcomed into a carefully curated environment where architecture, art, materials, books, and objects come together naturally.

Where Contrasts Find Balance

The interiors embody Claire Dominics Buro’s design philosophy through a considered balance of contrasting elements. Exposed concrete, brick, and steel establish a raw architectural framework, softened by bespoke joinery, rich textiles, and layered lighting.

A predominantly black-and-white palette brings together the industrial and refined, masculine and soft, structured and inviting, allowing the studio itself to become a living expression of the practice’s approach to hospitality and residential design.

Art at the Heart of the Studio

Art plays a central role within the new space. An integrated gallery creates an ongoing dialogue between art and interior architecture, reflecting the studio’s belief that art is an essential part of storytelling and placemaking rather than an afterthought.

Alongside the gallery, an extensive design library and material archive brings together books on architecture, art, travel, culture, and design with collections of stone, wood, textiles, metals, and handcrafted finishes.

A Milestone for the Studio

The opening represents both a milestone and a statement of intent for Claire Dominics Buro.
